The forged 316L steel construction increases fatigue strength while reducing internal porosity, allowing for superior finishing and durability. Heat treatment and bead blasting further improve scratch and impact resistance. A PVD anti-fingerprint coating is applied to reduce smudging and improve surface feel.

The slightly domed sapphire crystal is Hytrel-mounted to improve shock resistance and reduce glare. Internal anti-reflective coating improves clarity in bright conditions.

The sealing system uses lubricated double Viton gaskets in both the crown and threaded caseback. The system exceeds the rated 200m depth specification by approximately 30%.

Curved lugs allow the watch to wrap naturally around the wrist despite the larger dimensions, resulting in a surprisingly compact feel during wear.

The anti-shock movement mounting system helps protect timekeeping performance from drops and impacts.

Included heavy-grade military straps are designed for durability, comfort, and security if a springbar fails.

The dial uses over 30 layers of Swiss Super-Luminova applied over a reflective chemical base for maximum luminous efficiency. Performance has been verified by RcTritec Switzerland.

All LÜM-TEC watches are designed and engineered in Ohio from the ground up. Every watch is individually assembled and fully tested by hand.
