The Super Combat series takes the proven Combat B formula to the next level with a 45mm forged titanium case, higher water resistance and a highly finished and buttery smooth running Swiss automatic movement.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe Super Combat cases are made from surgical grade solid titanium. We use forged construction to re-align the metal grain structure to increase fatigue strength by 37% over a typical titanium case. This also eliminates voids and porosity in the metal, allowing for the finest possible finishing level.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eA heat treatment is done to improve the stability of the metal during the forging process and to harden the metal surface after finishing.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eBead blast finishing creates a micro work hardened surface to improve scratch and ding resistance by 8-10% over brushed or polished finishes. It leaves a perfectly flawless smooth satin finish. We add a physical vapor deposited Titanium Carbide gunmetal hard coating to create a very tough and scratch resistant surface then add an anti-fingerprint coating to fill any microscopic pores from the bead blasting in and leave an even smoother finish that prevents oily smudges and fingerprints on the case.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe thick, slightly domed, Hytrel mounted sapphire creates a wider angle reflection which makes the dial easier to see without harsh reflection. The 53mm lug-to-lug length is substantially reduced in effective wrist span by the steep downward curvature of the lugs, allowing the case to wrap around the wrist rather than projecting straight outward. These movements are adjusted in 6 positions inside the assembled watch to ensure that maximum accuracy is achieved to +\/- 3-5 seconds\/day or better.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eTwo 24mm custom grade, thick nylon straps and a high quality leather strap are included. The strap is looped through both sides to ensure the watch is not lost if a springbar becomes damaged. Our nylon straps are much more durable than typical straps of this type.
